The role - Bookkeeper
Location - Stirling (RURAL) - own transport essential
Hours - full-time (35 hours) or part-time (20 hours)
Salary - £27k (full time hours)
We have been asked to find an outstanding, organised Bookkeeper or Finance Assistant to join a small family run organisation based in the Stirling area.
Our client is open to both full-time and part-time candidates. The full-time hours would be 35 hours per week and part-time would be a minimum of 20 hours per week.
The successful candidate will have prior experience of preparing accounts with minimal guidance and will be able to hit the ground running.
We will only be shortlisting candidates who have ample Accountancy and Finance experience and are proficient in Sage, QuickBooks, and or Xero finance software.
An example of some day to day duties in your new role would be:
* Completing all Bookkeeping work up to Trial Balance stage
* Processing invoices
* Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
* Bank and supplier statement reconciliations
* Control and manage the cash flow of the business
* Reconciliation of online customer payments
* Assisting with ledgers
* Assisting with month end duties
We'd love to speak to candidates who:

* Have previous experience within a similar role
* Have knowledge of accountancy software - SAGE/Quickbooks/Xero
* Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst adhering to strict deadlines
* Are self-motivated and have initiative
* Can communicate effectively
* Display a high level of attention to detail
* Can work independently with minimal supervision
