Bookkeeper/ Management Accountant


North Tyneside

Full Time, Permanent

Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

£25-30k DoE

My client works within the automotive industry in North Tyneside and is looking for a Bookkeeper to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a brilliant, hardworking team, in a role with autonomy, independence and trust.

You'll be incredibly trustworthy, hardworking and able to handle conflicting priorities with ease, as well as this, you will have prior experience working within the Automotive Industry.


  • Checking and entering all purchase and sales invoices onto Sage

  • Making payments

  • Reconciling bank accounts

  • Controlling finance payments and receipts

  • Controlling cashflow

  • Assisting with departmental budgets

  • Investigating variations

  • Monthly Reports

  • Communicate and gather information for the outsourced chartered accountants to ensure smooth and efficient running of Management Accounts


  • Working knowledge and evidence of use and working knowledge of Sage 50

  • Experience with Motor industry specific software such as Techman and Apak knowledge is desirable, although full training will be completed with the successful candidate

  • Experience working in the Motor industry is essential

  • Good knowledge of Excel

  • Excellent communicator

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

  • Ability to work independently and prioritise workflow


  • AAT Level 3 and above

  • GCSE's A-C including English and Maths
