Bookkeeper - FTC

SALARY: £20 - £23k per annum (FTC 6 MONTHS)



HOURS: 9 - 5.30 Mon-Fri

We are assisting an established Engineering Consultancy in Glasgow with the recruitment of an experienced Bookkeeper who will be a play a pivotal role in the success of the business.

An example of some day to day duties in your new job would be:

  • Completing all Bookkeeping work up to Trial Balance stage

  • Processing invoices

  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns

  • Liaising with HMRC

  • Bank and supplier statement reconciliations

  • Control and manage the cash flow of the business

  • Reconciliation of online customer payments

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Assisting with ledgers

  • Assisting with month end duties

  • Are available to start immediately

  • Have previous experience within a similar role

  • Have knowledge of accountancy software - SAGE/XERO

  • Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst adhering to strict deadlines

  • Are self-motivated and have initiative

  • Can communicate effectively

  • Display a high level of attention to detail

  • Can work independently with minimal supervision
