Salary: up to £27,00 depending on experience


Location: Birmingham B15


Full time: 100% Office Base


Proposed start date: As soon as possible

Our client is a UK manufacturing company who are now looking to expand their finance team. You will be a vital part of the team as Bookkeeper/Administrator working with likeminded colleagues, you will assist with a variety of accounts and administrative tasks including process invoices, monthly reports, answering the phone while providing support to other areas of the finance department. You will ideally have experience with SAGE INTACCT and have excellent IT skills including Excel. You will have strong attention to detail, and you will be happy completing various duties out with finance as well.


What will this role involve?



  • Advising on how to reduce costs and increase profits

  • Auditing and analysing financial performance

  • Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports

  • Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations

  • Financial forecasting and risk analysis

  • Keeping account books and systems up to date

  • Monitoring spending and budgets

  • Preparing accounts and tax returns

  • General ledger

  • Credit Control

  • Reconciliations

  • Filing

  • General admin duties



To be successful in this role, you will:



  • Experience of Microsoft 365

  • Ability to communicate effectively by telephone, in person and in writing

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ideally have experience with SAGE INTACCT

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
