Job role: Bilingual (French & German) HR Administrator

Job Type: Temporary 2 - 3 Month Contract

Hours of work: 40 hours per week (9:00am until 5:30pm Monday to Friday)

Location: Birmingham

Office Angels have an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual (French & German) Administrator to work within a HR department for a reputable global retailer. Offering your administrative skills and expertise, the purpose of this role will be to proactively deliver HR and Payroll administration to employees based within Switzerland. The HR function supports the organisation to efficiently recruit and retain the right people for their business and the successful individual will be a vital part of their team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Guiding and supporting employees with general HR queries

  • Delivering efficient administration with the on boarding on new employees

  • Managing administrative documentation relating to employee holidays, absence, maternity leave

  • Off-boarding activities in line with related Swiss legislation and labour law requirements

  • Coordinating employees HR Files

  • Issuing of leaver documents

  • Coordinating letter / email correspondence to employees

  • Providing support with external / internal audits connected with HR

  • Liaising with departments within the wider business

  • Collating information and supporting documents for month payroll exercises

Personal attributes required for this role:

  • Fluent in French (Essential)

  • Fluent in French and German (Desirable)

  • Previous HR Administration & Payroll experience (Desirable)

  • Familiar with Swiss social system and Swiss labour law (Desirable)

  • Swiss HR Administration certification (Desirable)

  • Ability to use MS Word and Excel

  • Confident with email and telephone enquiries

  • Highly organised

  • Articulate communication skills

  • Excellent team player

  • Ability to prioritise workload
