Monday to Friday 9am -5pm / HYBRID -2 days working in the office

Overview:


A BRAND NEW opportunity to join a successful Ecommerce business based in central Guildford!


You will be supporting the Merchandising Team in weekly trading preparation, seasonal planning, stock purchasing and intake. You will be managing the Merchandising process accurately and taking lead responsibility for weekly and seasonal Merchandising reporting.


This role would suit someone who is currently working at an Assistant merchandiser level,with retail store based and/or online merchandising experience


What will my daily duties be?? ..



  • Preparing ad hoc analysis to support range development, stock availability and promotional planning.

  • Translating line level forecasts into purchase order proposals and manages them in line with the OTB/WSSI.

  • Ensuring preparation is completed in line with critical paths and supplier lead times.

  • Takes ownership for the preparation and timely delivery of Trading reports.

  • Proposes areas of action to be taken on stock.

  • Ensuring any weekly trading actions are promptly followed through to completion.

  • Prepares weekly markdown/promotional deal analysis and costing tool.

  • Communicates stock issues and all price changes in a timely manner.

  • Ensuring In Stock Availability, OTB, WSSI and planning documents are actualised in a timely and accurate manner


Skills/ Experience:



  • Minimum 2 years merchandising experience.

  • Numerate and Analytical with excellent accuracy and Excel skills.

  • Experience working in an E-commerce retail business (this would be beneficial but is not essential)

  • Ability to prioritise daily workload.

  • A confident communicator, extremely well organised, with strong attention to detail.
