Assistant Brand Manager

Reporting to the Brand Manager in a pet care company, this exciting new position allows the successful candidate to support the USA based Senior Brand Manager in actively driving and implementing initiatives, new product launches and providing key tactical plans, reporting and co-leading strong product and campaign activity in the health and hygiene category.

Job Overview:

With exciting and ambitious global growth plans, the Assistant Brand Manager will
support the USA based Senior Brand Manager in actively driving and implementing
initiatives, new product launches and providing key tactical plans, reporting, and co-leading strong product and campaign activity in the health and hygiene category.

Job Responsibilities:

o Brand Strategy
o Work jointly with the Senior Brand Manager to deliver and adapt global
concepts across key regions and to create and implement the global brand
strategy.
o Support in developing and delivering digital assets for the global social
media pages, website and key markets.
o Working on and supporting commercial plans, exploring opportunities for
growing the brand in the future.
o Trade commercialism
o Monthly category analysis and reporting key insights.
o Development and delivery of category presentations to internal and
external stakeholders, including global retailers.
o Provide support on potential events for the category, from concept through
to creation and own parts of the execution.
o Conducting pre and post analysis of launches and promotions.
o Research
o Monitor key competitor activity in grooming and other relevant sectors,
gather examples of learnings and provide quarterly competitive overview.
o Bring passion and an eagerness to learn to the team - looking for outside
ideas for inspiration.



Key Competencies:



o Degree or equivalent qualification in a Marketing related degree (desirable).
o 1 - 2 years' experience in consumer products marketing.
o Spoken second language (desirable but not necessary).
o Some prior experience with supporting a product launch/project management.
o Problem-solver, able to drive the way forward with speed and agility.
o Curious, passionate, creative and always striving to learn and improve.
o Team player with good communication skills, both written and verbal, able to
articulate point of view.
o Experience working with the Microsoft Office with working knowledge of
o PowerPoint and Excel.
o Have a love of animals.
o Car Owner.

Reporting to: Senior Brand Manager
Salary: Up to £25,000 depending on experience
