35 hours per week
Hybrid working - minimum 2 days per week in office

We are currently recruiting for an Assessments Officer on behalf of a prestigious client based in Manchester City Centre. This role is an integral part of the Assessments team who play a pivotal role within this organisation.
This will be an extremely busy and varied role with the main responsibilities being as follows:
* Managing an ongoing programme of events
* Ensuring all assessment equipment is in full working order and updated when needed.
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to have tests and assessments reviewed and signed off
* Gaining colleague feedback on tests and testing equipment to ensure continuous improvement
* Complete statistical reporting to be included in assessment reports
* Draft papers, documents and correspondence for meetings and follow up on actions from these meetings
* Advertise and recruit assessors for events and keep the recruitment database updated
* Organise and set up assessment days including organising test papers and equipment, booking rooms and catering, ensure IT equipment is set up
* Recruitment, training and management of junior associates, including regular one to ones, annual feedback and 360 reviews.
* Provide effective and inclusive management and leadership to a team by supporting their personal development
* Maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders
Candidates for this role will be able to demonstrate strong experience of the following:
* Ideally will have worked in an assessments environment and with assessment content. However, other operational backgrounds will also be considered as long as quality of service was key to the role.
* People management skills and experience are essential including people development and motivation
* Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
* Strong statistical analysis skills and confidence using these to produce reports and manage quality.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must as you will deal with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.
* Good working knowledge of MS Excel in addition to solid IT and systems skills.
