JOB TITLE: Approvals Administrator (6 - 9 month contract)


(This role will suit someone who has experience as a Projects Administrator, Customer Service Administrator, Sales Administrator, Logistics Administrator, or any other administrative position where you have had to organise and coordinate a project / works prior to commencement).


LOCATION: Highbridge, Somerset (Outskirts)


SALARY & BENEFITS: £20,000 - £25,000 PA DOE

HOURS: 8am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday


THE COMPANY: An established and innovative sustainable engineering company with a long standing and friendly team. They don't need to recruit often due to the longevity of their employees which is testament to them as an employer.


THE ROLE: This role is being offered as a maternity cover contract (6-9 month contract), but has the potential to go permanent. You will be working in a team of 3 alongside the Manager and the current Approvals Administrator (going on maternity leave in April) so you will receive an excellent handover. You will regularly speak to clients to confirm information and all the requirements for the works. You will be responsible for ensuring that all project approval processes are carried out in support of the Sales & Operations team.


DUTIES:



  • Working with the sales team to ensure all information is in place for the design team to create drawings prior to delivery of materials.

  • Client and contractor correspondence to gain approvals of drawings.

  • Reading of contractor drawings to assess changes and action any changes to drawings when required.

  • Keeping track of required projects due for install and ensuring drawings are completed.

  • Dealing with client enquiries.

  • Close contact working with Sales, Design and Operations departments.

  • Ensuring all project admin is recorded and filed correctly.

  • Ensuring the system is kept up to date with correspondence and project approval status.

  • Reporting any discrepancies to Approvals Manager.


THE CANDIDATE:



  • A natural organiser who enjoys coordinating.

  • Prior administrative experience and confident communicator.

  • Knowledge of MS Office & ideally prior experience using a CRM system.

  • A proactive individual, keen to learn and enthusiastic to build on their experience.
