Our client is a 'good' primary school based near Brixton, they have a strong pupil focus, celebrated in their recent Ofsted Report, an ideal working environment for someone looking for a place to feel part of the bigger picture.


Based in the school office, you will join their team next week for two weeks, have a summer break to then return in September on an ongoing basis. To be successful in your application, you must be committed to the summer schedule of the client, have good working knowledge of SIMS and worked in an education setting.


You will play a core part in the running of this successful school, so will be confident in your abilities, have initiative and be proactive!



Role: School Administration Officer



HOURS: 8am - 4pm



SALARY: £12-£13 per hour Depending on Experience



LOCATION: London

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES




  • Responsible for the database and managing all administrative tasks, including leavers, assessment information. Effectively keeping records up to date using the database.

  • Good understanding of SIMS, CPOMS, Pupil Asset ETC

  • Manage attendance reports and contact with parents and teachers

  • Submission of accurate and up to date data for professional bodies in accordance with deadlines.

  • Reporting on all aspects of data analysis for the team.

  • Present statistical data in the most appropriate way for a rang od audiences.

  • Support HR, Mange staff personnel files including annual updates.

  • Purchasing resources and ensuring stationary is replenished

  • Carry out any additional tasks and responsibilities as required.



PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES




  • Good communication skills, able to liaise with all parties involved in the school

  • Good understanding of safeguarding and GDPR

  • Good interpersonal skills, able to use diplomacy and tact

  • Strong MS Skills and Knowledge of School software packages

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

  • A problem solver, sees the solution and presents accordingly
