My client, a reputable construction company, is looking for an enthusiastic Administrator to join them on a permanent basis at their new office based in Waltham Abbey. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team where you can develop and progress, taking on more responsibilities as the business grows.

You will be responsible for:

  • Being the first point of contact, taking calls and dealing with queries

  • Making outbound calls to businesses and compiling lists of contact details

  • Providing administrative support within the commercial and estimating departments

  • Liaising with clients, organising meetings and arranging refreshments

  • Managing the tender list, documents and setting up new files

  • Assisting with the day to day administration and smooth running of the office

  • Ad hoc administrative tasks as required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong administration and IT skills including Ms Word, Excel & Outlook

  • Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner

  • Willingness to learn and be open minded

  • Some experience within the construction industry would be beneficial but not essential
