Office Hours 9.15am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday

Can you work independently and support a team whilst working efficiently? Are you flexible in your approach to work, and happy to work in different departments to help with office duties?


If so, our professional services client based in Tunbridge Wells are looking for a new member of their team to come on board and work within the office services department team and generally assist to ensure the office runs smoothly.


Duties involved:



  • Assisting with the smooth running of the mailroom

  • Sort and scan incoming mail

  • Collect, sort and distribute internal mail, files, stationery, notices, cheques

  • Prepare mail for distribution including sorting internal and external mail and parcels

  • Ensure accurate franking of mail and parcels

  • Undertake hand deliveries to local businesses

  • General administration, updating records and data inputting

  • Prepare and keep records accurately

  • Record information accurately, whether manually or using a keyboard

  • Search files and records for information

  • Sort and store files and certificates accurately so that they can be easily retrieved

  • Keep central diary system updated

  • Process stationery requests

  • Cover reception as and when required and greet and help clients and visitors to the office

  • Set up and put down meeting rooms as required


This is a pivotal role for a busy office working within a team supporting other departments and you must be able to communicate effectively, have a ''can -do'' attitude as things can crop up that you will have to assist with, but in return you will receive full training and be able to utilise your previous administration skills.


Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word and Outlook) are also required.
