Job Type: Temporary Contract (initially 3 - 4 weeks)

Hours of work: Full Time, 37 hours per week, 9.00am - 5.30pm (flexibility available if required)

Location: Sutton Coldfield

Pay rate: £10 per hour

Start Date: Immediate

Office Angels are currently recruiting for an Administrator to work for a health care establishment located in Sutton Coldfield. As the Administrator you will provide an efficient, effective, professional, co-ordination, administration and monitoring for the implementation of the internal processes and statutory procedures. The successful candidate will provide clinical administration support to the administrative team as required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure patients, relatives, legal representatives, and official agencies are provided with the information and documentation required

  • Liaise with clinicians, allied professionals, patients, their families, legal representatives, and official agencies

  • Respond to enquiries and requests for information in accordance with company policies and statutory regulations

  • Co-ordinate the accurate, timely completion, processing of section papers and associated documentation

  • Ensure the relevant information, signatures and permissions are obtained and recorded in accordance with the requirements of the MHA and code of practice

  • Arrange hearings for tribunals and hospital managers reviews with responsibility to notify all parties, obtaining reports, negotiate hearing dates, venue, providing and processing documentation in line with MHA Code of Practice and procedures.

  • Arrange and organise all associated meetings ensuring the effective and timely production, collation, distribution of reports, minutes, and other relevant documentation

  • Ensure all referrals received via portal / private are processed and given to the referrals team for reviewing

  • To provide general administration as delegated by the PA/Lead Administrator

Skills / Experience required:

  • Experience in a reception/administration role

  • Experience as an Administrator working in a team orientated office environment

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT systems

  • Highly organised, detail orientated and analytical

  • Self-motivated and self-starter with the ability to prioritise and schedule work independently

  • Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality

  • Ability to maintain professional conduct at all times, remaining calm and in control

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Enhanced DBS (essential)
