As the New Business Administrator, you will be in charge of monitoring all procurement portals and new contact emails; helping to identify and distributing relevant research opportunities to the correct teams! They need someone reliable, dependable and with a keen eye for detail - no opportunity can be missed, so you must be someone that can action work quickly, whilst ensuring high standards.



DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:



  • Managing incoming opportunities including monitoring procurement portals, websites and emails for new business opportunities

  • Monitoring the new business email inbox

  • Forwarding opportunities to the appropriate research team(s)

  • Ensuring the internal business system is kept up to date with new opportunities

  • Assisting with the submission of bids in the absence of the Bid Managers

  • Regular circulation of the new WINS to staff - minimum monthly updates, depending on the volume of wins

  • Supporting the Bid Writers with administrative tasks

  • Supporting the Head of New Business on the Creds process and Creds database

  • Occasional administrative support on grant funding applications and social value development



SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



  • Ability to organise, prioritise and plan a busy, time sensitive and varied workload

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work confidently and independently with a range of internal and external stakeholders

  • Proactive and confident self-starter

  • Ability to become quickly familiar with existing systems and processes and provide a high-quality service with minimal guidance

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work with discretion when dealing with confidential information and material

  • Computer literate and good knowledge of Microsoft Office
