Office Angels have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our client who is based in Middlesbrough, on a permanent contract basis. You will be joining a busy team in a leading not-for-profit organisation, providing all round administration support.

This is an urgent role, starting ASAP, however a notice period can be considered for the right candidate.



  • Location: Middlesbrough

  • Hourly pay rate: £9.25 - £9.50 per hour, with an increase following 6 month's probation

  • Hours: 37 hours per week

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with an early finish on a day of your choice each week!


The Role - Your main duties will include:



  • First point of contact providing a professional customer service experience to all callers (service users, clients and colleagues)

  • Providing administrative support to all staff; typing letters, organising paperwork, producing invoices, note taking in meetings and providing recruitment admin support

  • Managing internal database, including the uploading of new referrals and other relevant documentation

  • Responding to service users via telephone and email to resolve any queries

  • Ensuring that invoices and timesheets are allocated correctly and in a timely manner

  • Sending regular group emails reminding of timesheet submission dates

  • Processing referrals, sending out welcome packs

  • Understanding the DBS process and taking the lead on the evidence gathering and ensuring timely completion

  • Liaising with companies to complete annual checks (fire extinguisher/PAT/Shredding)

  • Support with the collation of data for reports - training provided

  • Checking weekly attendance sheets

  • Managing spreadsheets to allow for statistical information to be accessed

  • Receiving and recording all incoming/outgoing mail

  • Monitoring and replenishing office stationery stock


Skills, Experience and Qualifications -



  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Excel and Outlook).

  • Ability to input and maintain accurate data records

  • Ability to manage workload effectively

  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

  • Ability to work flexibly and to deadlines

  • Ability to produce business correspondence to a high standard
