Our client a rapidly expanding and successful Consultancy firm based near London Bridge and Haywards Health are looking to recruit an experienced Administrator to join their team.


You will be required to work from both offices so we are ideally looking for somebody who can commute to both areas.


The Administration Assistant supports the Office and Facilities Manager and the Operations Manager in providing the central administrative support function to the whole of The Group on which all staff and sub-consultants depend.



Key Duties:



  • Providing day to day administrative support to the wider team including templates, document formatting, photocopying and other support on special projects/ assignments within the business as appropriate

  • Arranging taxi, train, car hire or flight journeys for staff, checking all available options in line with The Group business expenses policy as directed.

  • Assisting with the organisation of staff social events and other business events.

  • Welcoming visitors (to the London office once reopened) and ensuring their well-being whilst on the premises.

  • Assisting with the ordering and distribution of office supplies for all offices and that mail distribution and system related issues are dealt with in a satisfactory and timely manner

  • Assisting with enquiries and admin team mailboxes and actioning emails and/or forwarding these to the relevant member of staff

  • Answering incoming calls, taking accurate information and diverting calls to the relevant member of staff

  • Organising conference calls

  • Assisting the Office and Facilities Manager in ensuring printers and other IT equipment in all offices are in working order and supplies (toners, cartridges) are available at all times



To apply for this role you MUST have the following:



  • Previous Office Administration and Reception experience

  • Excellent communications skills

  • MS Office skills - experience formatting documents

  • Confidence to mange your own workload

  • Professionalism

40 hours per week/ 8 hours per day (although flexible working needed from time to time), Monday to Friday worked between 0800 - 1800
