We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to work in Wigston Monday - Friday 37.5 hours with an early finish on a Friday to be part of a small established team with great opportunities


As the Sales Administrator you will be part of an existing team with training from your Line Manager


Main Responsibilities as the Administrator


Understanding & updating the company planning sheets including:


Reviewing sales orders in order book


Inputting customer requested dates


Inputting material per part & material demands


Updating status of work in progress


Recording subcontract operation


Understanding & updating the ERP system including:


Running & exporting reports from ERP to MS Excel


Booking in raw materials in the correct manner, to include overseeing material counting to company standards


Creating work orders for production


Booking in delivery notes


Clocking subcontract operations


Creating work order packs for production


Shopfloor & external expediting support


Assist with booking in subcontract work and maintaining records


Oversee & chase supplier ESR responses


Use available data to assist with creating supplier evaluations


Oversee supplier accreditations are all up to date alongside QM


Attend Production meetings


Assist with raw material forecasting


Shopfloor productivity measures



As the Administrator your additional duties will include


Provide cover for Head of Production Planning, Supply Chain Controller & Despatch department, including substitution of work for absence, holidays etc Production administration tasks according to the business needs


Taking care to ensure customer proprietary information remains confidential at all times


Being aware of quality requirements of the business at all times


Being aware of health and safety responsibilities in own and others' activities


Adhering to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment, systems and materials at all times


.


To be successful as the Administrator we are looking for the following


Sound PC skills & administrative background including good knowledge of MS Word, Excel (ideally intermediate) and Outlook, knowledge of MRP systems advantageous


Able to communicate effectively with both internal colleagues and external suppliers


Time management / project management - ability to manage a variety of tasks at the same time


Previous experience in supply chain or production role , ideally within a similar industry or engineering environment is advantageous


A proactive, hands on approach to managing own workload and supporting the Production team.
