TITLE: Administrator

LOCATION: Central Exeter

SALARY: Up to 25,000 per annum DOE

HOURS: Full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday - Flexible hours scheme available around core hours of 9am-4pm

They are widely recognised for their exceptional knowledge base across all business sectors and areas of financial management.

THE ROLE: The Administrator will play an essential role for this business, being the first point of contact, responsible for a variation of clerical duties, supporting a team of accountants and partners, and becoming the go-to person for the company. An additional part of this role is assisting with the company's finance administration; however, a finance background is not essential - just a strong attention to detail.


  • Ensure efficient operation of the office

  • Being the first port of call, answering the phones

  • Supporting the team and accountants in undertaking their role

  • Dealing with queries from clients, filtering calls accordingly

  • Organising and scheduling meetings

  • Assisting with invoices and billing

  • Providing general assistance to the partners and managers

  • Day to day organisation and running of the reception function, dealing with post, filtering calls

  • Dealing with emails

  • Filing paperwork

  • Support the office with general admin tasks, copying, typing and ordering of materials and stationery


  • Experience in an administrative role

  • GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths

  • Ability to show initiative and work within a team

  • Ability to build good client relationships

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to build rapport with people at various levels

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Ability to manage own workload in a timely manner while all the time ensuring to exceed client expectations

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in circumstances

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
