JOB TITLE: Administrator


SALARY: £20,000 - £22,000 PA DOE

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8.30-5.00pm

BENEFITS: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, free car parking, fantastic development opportunities

THE COMPANY: This is a great opportunity to join a small independent company who have been a market leader for over 50 years. They offer a bespoke design and manufacturing service and supply clients across the world a top end prestige product and are looking for a candidate who wants to join their well established team.

THE ROLE: You will work with the Administrative Co-coordinator and assist with all aspects of administration and production administration for the company. Once trained you will begin to assist in the financial administration for the company. No experience is necessary in this area as full training and support will be given. This is a varied and busy role where you can get involved in many areas of the business and really grow your breadth of knowledge


  • General telephone and reception duties, dealing with enquiries

  • Maintain stationary and other office supplies

  • Responding to customers emails

  • Accounts handling , including invoicing of clients and handling payments

  • Checking incoming invoices for accuracy

  • Raising sales invoices, checking pricing against the database

  • Assisting in the preparation of sales ledger and purchase ledger

  • Producing outstanding balance statements for customers

  • Monitoring of overdue accounts

  • Entering customer orders onto database

  • Purchasing materials

  • Updating database with prices of supplier's goods

  • Booking dispatches of finished goods

  • Booking collections of goods/materials

  • Producing customer price lists

  • Producing ad hoc reports

  • Booking hotel reservations for customers

  • General administration support to the team


  • Proficient IT user with good excel skills

  • High level of customer service skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Some office or reception experience

This would suit someone who has some administration or office experience but is looking to join a company where they can develop their career further in a supportive and patient team.
