Are you looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced office environment? We have a fantastic opportunity for an Administrator to join our client's exciting team in the Construction Industry. No two days are the same at this nationwide organisation, so get ready for a varied role!


As an Administrator, you will be providing vital support to both the Contracts Management team and the wider office, ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Answering phone calls, taking messages, and transferring calls to the relevant department.

  • Managing the company inbox using Microsoft Outlook, including forwarding emails, filing them, and replying when necessary.

  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as setting up new job folders, updating spreadsheets, and monitoring jobs.

  • Typing up quotes, snagging lists, and reports using Microsoft Word.

  • Organising photographs for reports and ordering materials for projects.

  • Booking travel, parking, and accommodation when required.

  • Handling all printing, laminating, and scanning tasks.

  • Assisting with stock takes and asset number allocations in the warehouse.

  • Booking training courses and organising client feedback forms.

  • Additional ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

  • Opening and closing the office and warehouse when required.


To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:



  • Previous administration experience in a varied role and within a small team

  • Confident, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality.

  • Excellent phone manner and communication skills.

  • Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to various tasks.

  • Interest in learning more about the construction industry.

  • Excellent written and numeracy skills.

  • Driving licence is essential

  • In order to reach the top of the salary banding experience in the construction industry will be required
