My client is seeking a professional individual to join their customer service team. The successful candidate will be involved in the day to day workings of a department consisting of 4 other experienced members of staff in Braintree, with a further 2 members based externally. This is an exciting time for the department and company as a whole as they expand their business.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Logging of customer queries on internal spreadsheet.

  • Discussing and investigating queries with suppliers, including corrective and preventative actions.

  • Responding to customer queries, including internal communication to arrange collection / credit / reprocessing of product.

  • Completing customer queries including SAQs, specifications and maintenance of customer portals.

  • Regularly liaising with clients over email.

  • Liaising with internal teams regularly.

  • Member of the internal audit and HACCP teams.

  • Any other tasks as directed by the technical management team.

Preferred Skillset & Qualifications

  • Ability to work and communicate internally & externally effectively whilst under pressure.

  • An attitude to help team members during busy times.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Exposure to BRC standards, HACCP and Internal auditing preferable

  • Willingness to increase your knowledge & share with others.

  • Keen interest in the Food Industry ideally
