Administrator - 12 Month FTC - Starting Immediately

JOB TITLE: Administrator - 12 Month FTC - Starting Tuesday 4th May


SALARY: £19,500 - £20,500 DOE

HOURS: Full time, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

COMPANY: A well-established and growing healthcare company based on the outskirts of Taunton, offering modern offices situated in a picturesque surroundings.

We are currently recruiting for a well-organised and enthusiastic Administrator to start on Tuesday 4th May, to assist the company in maintaining a COVID safe working environment, working with the Managing Director and Senior Management team to communicate and implement new guidelines in relations to providing Social Care while managing the risk of COVID-19.

The successful candidate must have prior administration experience with the ability to prioritise and have excellent decision making skills, knowledge or experience within a COVID support role would be desirable however not essential.

This is a varied and busy role and will include duties such as;

  • Organising and booking COVID-19 testing on behalf of staff on a rolling basis

  • Arranging for short notice testing for staff in the event of symptoms or exposure to COVID-19

  • Assisting services with ongoing monitoring and prevention initiatives - this could include taking of Staff temperatures

  • Recording PPE use across all services and locations

  • Accurately predict how long PPE stocks will last based on current use

  • Ordering and arranging distribution of PPE to services and locations

  • Monitoring changes to official COVID-19 guidance which might affect day to day operations

  • Communicating and implementing any changes to operational process as a result of change to official guidance; as instructed by Senior Management team

  • Carrying out general administrative tasks conducive to the maintenance of personnel records in relation to COVID-19

  • Confidentiality - Compliance with the Company's Confidentiality Policy is mandatory. The nature of this role means that you will have access to highly sensitive information about staff and Service Users, any breach of confidentiality could result in prosecution for an offence under Data Protection legislation and/or in addition to disciplinary action taken by Way Ahead Care which could result in summary dismissal

  • Promoting and act at all times in accordance with the Company's Equal Opportunities Policy

  • Undertaking regular Continual Professional Development

  • Maintaining staff register to monitor travelling abroad and locations.

Key skills required:

  • Strong IT skills

  • Confident telephone manner

  • Excellent communication and written skills

  • Able to work well as part of a team and independently
