Job Title: Administration Manager

Location: Ashford, office based

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm

Salary: £28k-£32k

Your key responsibilities as the Administration Manager would be to:

  • Oversee 3 members of admin team on a day to day basis.

  • HR for admin team only.

    • Approve holiday via HR portal

    • Approve and log Sickness via HR portal

    • Give both discipline and or praise where needed.

    • Ensure basic weekly timesheets are submitted.

    • Carry out annual reviews for the team.

  • Train the admin team.

  • Host fortnightly admin team meetings.

  • Oversee the post in and out backlog & process.

  • Oversee the onboarding of new clients process.

  • Answer the telephone

  • Take messages

  • Prepare SA302 - tax overviews

  • Enter clients onto the database & run reports from the database to see what is outstanding

  • Oversee the renewal of office based contracts of copiers, franking machine etc.

  • Adhoc tasks on behalf of senior management.

  • Oversee the records storage location - rebuild process.

  • Review existing processes for completeness, test them, and redesign.

  • Dealing with HMRC over the telephone.

  • Responding to letters.

Key skills and experience required for this role:

  • Recent experience managing an Administration team is essential

  • HR Administration experience would be an advantage

  • Software experience not necessary, but very useful Xero, Creditsafe, CCH
