We are recruiting for a Travel Executive and you must have experience using Galileo our desired candidate must be extremely organised and structured who can demonstrate delivering excellent customer service for one of our clients working in the Ashby de la Zouch area working 08:00-16:30 and 08:30-17:00 and 09:30-18:00 on team rota basis (Monday-Thursday) 09:00-17:30 as the Travel Executive you will be part of an existing team working in an open plan office which is brand new with a line manager to offer you support and training including your first week on site being a full week of training

As the Travel Executive we have listed some of your duties below however we do have a full job spec available


Research travel options for client enquiries using all internal systems


Propose and present travel information to team and internal clients


To book travel and accommodation arrangements for employees / clients including flights, taxi's and hotel reservations and rail in line with budgetary guidelines


Manage and action all group travel related requests and requirements


Manage all individual and group flight deadlines


Liaison with internal teams and with external suppliers


Perform in a manner consistent with IATA and ATOC regulations


To attend familiarisation visits and supplier presentations


To assist in the monitoring of expenditure on travel for project teams


To attend project team meetings


To ensure relevant documents are forwarded to travellers e.g. flight confirmations


To assist with the completion of monthly reports and that the back office system is fully updated with all booking made on a daily basis


To work on other projects as requested by the Travel Manager


To manage the financial aspect of bookings in line with agreed budgets / travel policy


To ensure that all financial information is entered into bookings at confirmation stage


Negotiate group rates and cost savings with suppliers


Financial management of all travel documentation


Processing and management of job related refunds


Travel reconciliations completed by agreed business unit timescales
