Senior IFA Administrator
£23k-£26k per annum + discretionary bonus
Chelmsford, Essex
Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

*This is a 12-month maternity contract to start in February 2020*

Strong IFA experience is essential as understanding the industry and the market already is imperative to success in the role.

My client, a successful financial adviser's based in Chelmsford is seeking a Senior Administrator with fantastic attention to detail skills to join their business on a permanent basis.

  • Process all business submissions

  • Respond to all relevant client calls

  • Monitor Client Care & Advice email inboxes, and ensure any client emails have been acknowledged, and responded to.

  • Support Administrator, when required or during busy periods, to ensure all client documents and files, including pre-submission files, are scanned, including documentation from self-employed advisers

  • Action provider/client queries, relating to new business submissions, within a reasonable period, unless time critical

  • Acknowledge and action provider alerts and secure messages accordingly

  • Support the Head of Administration with Admin board statistics for monthly team meeting.

  • Monitor and report on whether SLA targets have been achieved to senior management on a monthly basis

  • Assist with any outstanding commission enquiries from Finance

  • Carry out one-month checks, for new business submissions until completion

  • Change of adviser process, when applicable

  • Change of agency process, when applicable

  • NPW process

  • Chasing of outstanding requirements, relating to new business submissions

  • Client Liaison, which may related, but not limited to:

    • Existing business queries;

      • Clawback and commission

      • Direct debit cancellation

    • Outstanding documentation etc

    • Protection applications

  • Ensure that any calls/ attempts made to the client are recorded

  • Process disinvestment requests from providers to cover provider or adviser fees, when applicable

  • Ensure new business submissions, under individual management, are monitored and completed correctly

  • Support Administrator with daily tasks in their absence, including the distribution of post, and franking of post, and sending out weekly appointment letters to clients.
