JOB TITLE: Front of House - Temp! (4+ weeks)


COMPANY: Luxury Furniture Showroom


HOURS: Monday - Friday | 09:00am-18:00pm


DURATION: 4-6 weeks (Possible extension)


PAY RATE: £10.00 per hour


LOCATION: Walking distance from Old Street/Barbican Station

Our client is a Luxury Furniture Showroom based in the heart of London! Do you have a passion for Luxury Furniture? This role is ideal for you as you will be supporting the Showroom Manager with all daily operations. Due to the nature of the environment, they require a candidate with Showroom experience and an enthusiastic energy.


You will oversee the Front of House area - performing the daily Reception duties. Ideally, the client is looking for a candidate who has Reception experience and great Customer Facing experience.


The candidate must be pro-active, professional, friendly and enthusiastic. The candidate selected for this role must have on-going availability as there is a possibility of extension.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:



  • Being the first point of contact for all visitors and guests

  • Meeting and greeting, ensuring all visitors/guests are looked after e.g. offering refreshments

  • Answering the Show-room telephone and answering all general enquiries as well as taking detailed messages

  • Supporting with email management

  • Ensuring that the show-room and kitchen area is tidy and presentable for the next day

  • Ordering stationary and supplies for the showroom

  • Booking the meeting rooms, as well as setting them up with refreshments

  • Supporting with Ad-Hoc duties: filing, scanning, sorting out folders and files


SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



  • Fluency in both written and verbal forms of English is essential

  • Fluent in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

  • Polite telephone manner

  • Pro-active, friendly, positive and professional

  • Previous experience in Front of House/Reception

  • Previous experience in Showrooms
