HOURS: 09:00am - 17.30pm | Monday - Friday
SALARY: £27,000 pa.

Our client has had 20+ years running publications and conferences for the data-centre market and is the leading publisher dedicated to this sector.
The business offers the sector the following services:

* DCPro training division providing market specific training and data centre certification services to help up skill industry experts

The Marketing Executive will develop and deliver the marketing strategy for our global conferences and training classes with over $5 million in revenues. The role is both strategic and hands-on. In addition to executing the marketing strategy, you will be expected to organise, create and implement innovative and best in class marketing plans for each event in your region. You will also be expected to take an active role in sharing best practice across the marketing department and regional offices.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:



* Executing plans for Events & training
* Extremely comfortable with generating inbound leads; marketing as a strategic sales driver
* Delivery of marketing plans to achieve revenue and attendance targets at each event
* Brief AD team on the marketing plan
* Responsibility for marketing budgets for those events
* Spex Marketing to deliver warm leads for sponsorship and exhibition sales teams
* Forging long-term partnerships with associations and publications
* Managing and developing event websites
* Work with the Database Manager to establish smart lists for each of your key buyer-personas
* Storytelling on social media
* Regular reporting back of all marketing results to key stakeholders in the business
* Work with the regional offices and other business marketing functions to share best practice

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



* Marketing - all aspects of planning and running B2B campaign and year-round, always on marketing
* Communication - Outstanding written and verbal skills
* Social media marketer demonstrating constant innovation
* Results orientated - using standard industry metrics (including Leads, Hit Rates, CTR, CRO)
* Teamwork and collaborative working
* Strategic thinking
* Able to work across several projects simultaneously and manage time effectively
* Takes ownership and uses initiative
* Accountable for targets and process driven
