JOB TITLE: Document Controller


SALARY: £27,000 - £35,000 + Fantastic Benefits


LOCATION: Ascot & Short Term at Head Office


INDUSTRY: Property Development


HOURS: Monday - Friday 8am-5.30pm

OVERVIEW:


I am proud to be working with a leading Property Development organisation who are launching a brand new site in Ascot. You will be working for an Award Winning Business setting up the Quality Control system initially prior to the development kicking off in April 2020. We are looking for someone who is hands on, dynamic and has extensive experience within a similar role.


We are looking for the perfect candidate to start ASAP/January 2020 and initially work at the Head Office which is 1 hour from Ascot. You will set up the whole system and then be ready to go in April where you will then be situated on site in Ascot.


What will you be doing day to day in your new role?



  • Implement a Quality Control System with the Project Manager

  • Take full responsibility for the site office

  • Manage the incoming design and quality assurance documentation

  • Support the Project Manager and Construction Director

  • Document control of all drawings, using A-site System

  • Supporting with administration within the Build, Commercial and Technical Department

  • First point of contact for incoming phone calls

  • Entering records onto Project Database

  • Responsible for the distribution of post etc

  • Collation and binding of the monthly board report

  • Assist in the collation of weekly reports

  • Maintaining records of contractors on a monthly basis and updating the security system

  • Updating induction records and inputting them onto the system

  • Set up meeting rooms with coffees/refreshments



We'd love to speak to candidates who have:



  • Previous experience within a similar role - Document Controller and Administration

  • Ideally to have experience using Fieldview and/or A-Site Experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Sound written communication

  • Be capable of a hands on role

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy at all times

  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills including Word, Outlook and Excel

  • Highly organised and professional with a methodical approach

  • Ideally to have worked within an development/construction environment

  • Charismatic, energetic and committed to making a difference
