Office Angels are currently recruiting for a Customer Support Coordinator to join our client who are based close to Wessington Way, Sunderland. This is a varied role involving administration and supporting the customer journey in a warm and friendly manner via telephone and email. This is NOT a scripted role and is NOT contact centre based. This is an administrative role which will suit someone who thrives on providing an outstanding service to customers.


Hours of work can be flexible between 7:30am - 4pm, 8.30am-5.00pm or 9:30am - 6pm Mon-Thurs, and an early finish of 3:30PM on a Friday. The hourly pay rate is £10 per hour.


This role is a temporary, on-going contract. Due to the urgency of this recruit it is essential you are available to start work as of January 2020. You will be expected to commit to the assignment, so please only apply if you are comfortable with temporary, on-going work.


The purpose of the role



  • To be responsible for the day to day management of all administration relating to all customer issues

  • To provide exceptional customer support

  • To contribute to the smooth-running operation of the customer support team


Key Duties;



  • Provide customer service and support, via telephone and email

  • Monitor the department email inbox

  • Appointment booking, diary management for field-based colleagues

  • Responsible for the day to day management of the administration relating to all customer issues

  • Take ownership of all ongoing customer's issues and resolve effectively

  • Oversee the work of field-based staff and report weekly on poor outcomes as necessary

  • Maintain reasonable timescales for customers for any works, and ensure that customers are kept informed

  • Liaise with and provide feedback to other departments

  • Ensure materials are available as required to facilitate field-based staff
