Customer Support Development



JOB TITLE: Customer Support Development



SALARY £26,200 per annum with access to performance related pay, civil service pensions scheme + bonus



LOCATION: Central Brighton - excellent modern office



TYPE: Large, executive non-departmental public body



HOURS: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (plus a new flexible working policy & flexible working arrangements)

We are supporting a well-established client who is looking for a confident customer service professional to join their team to support and develop their team of customer support advisors. Our client is offering on the job training with excellent opportunities to develop and grow within the business. This role is starting as a 10 month fixed term contract, however there is a possibility to be taken on permanent at the end of this, dependent on performance.



An example of the day to day duties in your new job would be:



  • Providing coaching and training to customer support advisors

  • Identifying and implementing improvements for the team

  • Carry out 1-2-1 sessions with the customer support advisors individually

  • Supporting the development of all individuals and the team

  • Delivering quality assurance on a monthly basis

  • Working closely on team projects and following key procedures

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Thorough knowledge of key customer service call handling techniques

  • A proven ability of coaching, supporting and developing a team

  • Experience of working within a quality assurance framework

  • Previous experience working well within a team
