We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Administrator to work for a leading engineering company based in Whetstone.


The Customer Service Administrator position is on an on-going temporary basis but can go permanent for the right candidate.


This role is being offered on a full-time basis, ideally the working hours will be Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm or 9:00am - 5:30pm.


As the Customer Service Administrator your duties will be:



  • Answering the phone, dealing with enquiries and filtering to the correct department

  • Converting quotes into sales orders

  • Placing orders with suppliers

  • Updating Sales and Purchase orders

  • Notifying suppliers and customers of any changes to delays to orders

  • Dealing with any customer/supplier issues or complaints

  • Dealing with order in requisitions and converting to PO's

  • Providing sales and admin support to the Service Centre Manager, purchasing department and other teams as and when required


To be successful as the Customer Service Administrator you must;



  • Have experience in a busy customer service team

  • Be skilled in Microsoft packages

  • Be able to deliver exceptional customer service

  • Be able to thrive under pressure and multi-task

  • Have an excellent telephone manner

  • Have excellent organisational skills

  • Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
