Our prestigious client, specialising in professional financial services, needs an experienced Compliance Officer to join their team.

The role is based in Glasgow City Centre - Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).

In this role you will be required to confidently respond to new and existing compliance risks to the business and drive new high compliance and risk management standards. You will report to the Head of Risk & Audit but will have full autonomy to work and develop the service standards and really make a difference to a growing organisation.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Take pride in checking your own work for accuracy and quality

  • Constantly strive to exceed existing quality and service standards

  • Be driven to understand the regulatory environment in which the business operates

  • Have previous experience of influencing key stakeholders

What your day will look like:

  • To ensure compliance with the requirements of the business and relevant regulatory bodies

  • Provide interpretation and guidance on regulatory issues

  • Accurately record any findings

  • Create action plan for incident management

  • Develop working practices

  • Manage compliance monitoring plan

  • Presenting quarterly compliance reports to the Risk & Audit committee

  • Liaising with other departments to ensure all regulatory requirements are met

Professional Experience and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of ISO27001 & ISO9001

  • Previous experience of working in a financial services environment
