HOURS: 09:00am - 17.30pm | Monday - Friday
SALARY: £30,000 - £34,000 pa. DOE

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Marketing and Bid Coordinator to join an international and award-winning placemaking practice of architects and master planners.

They are looking for someone who can support their busy Communications teams in monitoring and identifying new business opportunities and delivering high quality bid and tender submissions.

With proven experience in a similar role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and coordinating tender and bid submissions; preparing presentations and pitches for new projects; project research; producing ad-hoc brochures and maintaining the library of bid responses and the practice image library.

An understanding and ability to communicate our client's projects, positioning, philosophy and approach is essential for this role. As such the successful candidate must be articulate; have first class writing and graphic design skills; and prior experience as a Bid Coordinator gained within an architecture or urban design practice.

A genuine interest and enthusiasm for placemaking and the built environment is important.
Experience of communicating through digital and print media and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is essential.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:
SUBMISSION COORDINATION

- Produce high quality submissions, tenders, expression of interests and pre-qualification questionnaires that meets the brief and effectively reaches its audience
- Produce marketing and bid collateral
- Maintain and update library of responses, case studies, images and related content for use in bids, tenders and awards including CV's and project sheets.
- Record bid feedback and outcomes
- Produce award-winning award and competition submissions

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

- Produce effective marketing literature and communications for print, website, intranet, press and digital media that enhances the profile and reflects the philosophy and approach of the Practice
- Write and promote press releases in a timely and appropriate manner
- Assist in the coordination and publication of social media campaigns
- Help to coordinate effective internal communications that raise the profile of the Practice to its
staff
- Report and present proposals for marketing & communication initiatives at the monthly
marketing meeting
- Assist the organisation of events, seminars and conferences including client entertainment
programme and MIPIM
- Record and circulate press coverage and other relevant industry news articles
- Produce ad-hoc brochures, presentations and marketing materials as required
- Organise and upload project photography

OTHER DUTIES

- Update marketing and contact databases
- Coordinate project data capture
- Monitoring and reporting of new opportunities and OJEU notices
- Attendance and minute taking at the weekly opportunities meeting
- Maintain memberships as appropriate
- Assist in the management of the Image Library; its content and keywording
- Occasional reception cover for sickness/holiday and overflow telephone answering

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop & MS Office (Essential)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong graphic communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Previous bid coordination skills (Essential)
- Experience of working in a marketing and architectural environment
- Good typing skills
