Office Angels Milton Keynes are working with an award-winning accountancy firm based in Milton Keynes who are now recruiting! The prime focus of this role is to provide general office support and client administration to the Tax team. You will be proactive in identifying the demands within the department and will be capable of managing a variety of tasks whilst adhering to strict deadlines.



Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Process client information in an accurate and timely manner

  • Draft letters and collate information

  • Deal with inbound and outbound phone calls and escalate where necessary

  • Liaise with clients and staff as required and provide a consistent high level of service

  • Send accounts reminder letters/emails to clients

  • Assist with Engaging and Disengaging clients

  • Submit change of client addresses via HMRC

  • Carry out money laundering checks

  • Book in & out books and records

  • Bind and send accounts to clients

  • Maintain CRM, ensure up to date, add new clients/suppliers, amend client information etc.

  • Bank company cheques

  • Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks

  • Assist in maintaining the business's Health & Safety compliance

  • Scan and distribute incoming post for own area



The ideal candidate:



  • Excellent data entry skills with strong attention to detail

  • Able to communicate well both verbally and in writing

  • Able to manage own workload and work to strict timescales

  • Work well in a team and as an individual

  • Self-starter/self-manage/proactive



Essential:



  • Proven experience of working as an administrator within an Accounts, Finance or Legal environment

  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Competent in MS office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Confident in learning new systems and maintaining databases

  • A minimum of 5 GCSE's to include Math's and English

  • Possess a clean driving license

  • Friendly/outgoing/professional
