Our client has a newly released role and for this reason we are looking for an Administration/Finance Assistant. They are a construction-based business in Stirling and the role will be on a permanent basis - the hours of work are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned Administrator to join a bustling and busy team where you can showcase your business support experience.

Key Duties: -

  • Answering incoming telephone calls to the business efficiently and professionally

  • Dealing with invoices

  • Credit Control

  • Welcoming visitors

  • Dealing with stock

  • Scheduling client appointments

  • Fast and accurate data entry

  • Electronic filing, scanning and mail responsibilities

  • Audio typing (training can be provided)

  • Dealing with any client correspondence and preparing documentation using the Microsoft Office suite

Key Skills: -

  • Exemplary communication and customer service skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word and Excel

  • Sage 50 and or Sage 200 experience (preferable)

  • Previous experience of working in an office administration/business support environment

  • Able to use own initiative and adhere to tight deadlines

  • Fast and accurate typing

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong administration skills

  • A pro-active approach to work

  • Effective time-management skills

  • An organised approach to the daily tasks and the ability to work under pressure

  • Confidence in liaising with senior members of the team and clarifying information when necessary

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working within a small team and occasionally working without supervisions. You will be able to hit the ground running and prioritise your workload to ensure deadlines are met.
