Admin - Initially 3 Months, possibility of extension

We are seeking a friendly, organised, great communicator and strong administrator to join a well-known and respected charitable organisation focused on helping families across the UK and focusing on a range of topics from health, to mental health and loneliness.

JOB TITLE: Admin Officer in Volunteer Department

JOB TYPE: Permanent

SALARY: £24,535- £27,000 depending on experience


HOURS: Mon-Thur 9:00am-5:00pm, Friday 9:00-4:00

  • Supporting the team with administration for the volunteers

  • Answering calls and enquiries from the volunteers; any questions they have, guiding them through the systems over the phone, rarely email

  • Scanning paper files so that we can hold as electronic.

  • Checking expenses

  • Chasing Volunteers for their annual policy confirmation sign off - lots of speaking to people

  • Helping to roll out the Webexpenses systems to the volunteers. This will involve contacting the volunteers, talking them through the use of the system, compiling FAQs etc.

  • Supporting the Learning and development team with admin

  • Majority of the role is admin with a strong focus on service provision for the customers - the volunteers.
