We are supporting an independent, reputable law firm recruit for an Admin Assistant to join their growing team!


JOB TITLE: Admin Assistant


LOCATION: Totnes


HOURS: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm)


SALARY: Up to £20, 000 per annum DOE

THE ROLE: This is a really exciting and unique role due to its variety and scope! You will provide support across a range of functions within the organisation including reception cover, secretarial and admin support. You will be an invaluable resource to the organisation helping to ensure the smooth day to day running of the business. This position would really suit someone who is dynamic, flexible and who enjoys variety in their role!


YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:


Within this varied role you will support with all things admin! Some of these responsibilities might include (but are not limited to):



  • Providing reception cover - meeting and greeting clients, answering and redirecting calls and responding to any enquiries

  • Ensuring client records and files are up to date

  • Collecting, franking and delivering post

  • Ordering of stationery, office and kitchen supplies

  • Maintaining a tidy, functional and professional office and reception area

  • Supporting with the administration of timesheets

  • Disposing of confidential waste

  • Faxing, photocopying and scanning

  • Typing and audiotyping of fee earner notes and records

  • Preparing documents and court bundles

  • Booking client appointments and arranging meetings

  • General ad hoc admin tasks across the business


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:



  • An admin all-rounder

  • Previous experience in a reception, secretarial or admin position

  • Experience in a legal setting is advantageous but not essential

  • Someone who is confident at managing multiple tasks at one time

  • Someone who can demonstrate a flexible and dynamic approach to work and who enjoys variety

  • A professional and polite telephone manner

  • Experience in providing excellent client or customer service

  • A team player

  • Strong computer skills
