JOB TITLE: Accounts Payable Assistant


COMPANY: Tech Start Up


CONTRACT: Temp 3 months with opportunity to go Perm!


HOURS: 09:00am-18:00pm


START: ASAP


SALARY: £12.00-£14.00 per hour


LOCATION: Shoreditch- hybrid working style!

Our client is a very creative, dynamic, and innovative start up business, they specialise in the hospitality sector with a strong focus into the millennial and Gen Z population.


They are looking for a super eager, ambitious, and most importantly a FLEXBILE individual who wants to have no day being the same! You will work closely with the CFO to support getting integral processes in place and look after the full AP process whilst working closely with outsourced companies.



DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:


Responsibilities



  • Look after the full AP responsibilities

  • Receiving and recording the receipt of invoices

  • Processing invoices to make sure payments are correct and on time

  • Requesting receipt of statements

  • Processing payment runs

  • Matching and filing invoices and receipts

  • Reconciling business accounts

  • Distributing invoice copies to finance staff and other relevant departments

  • Setting up Pro Forma and chasing for payment

  • Liaising directly with third party companies


SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



  • Excellent numeracy and analytic skills

  • Previous experience using XERO

  • Previous experience completing Accounts Payable duties

  • Coming from a Start Up background would be desirable

  • Ability to be proactive and provide solutions

  • Hard working and well-presented

  • Able to work as part of a team

  • Time management, communication, and organisation skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
