Accounts Assistant (6 months Maternity Contract)

£28,000 - £30,000 pro-rata


20 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension scheme, car parking on site, friendly, approachable and helpful team.


*XERO EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL AND YOU MUST BE A CAR DRIVER DUE TO LOCATION*


In this small but very successful business you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for all aspects of the day to day accounting function.


Responsibilities include:



  • Purchase ledger approx 15 - 20 invoices per day

  • Sales ledger support with 1 other person

  • Bank reconciliation daily

  • Responding to accounts inbox emails

  • VAT return preparation

  • Ad-hoc reports

  • Import sales invoices to Xero daily

  • Compiling payroll spreadsheet monthly

  • Assistance in maintaining internal spreadsheets / data entry as appropriate;
