JOB ROLE: Accounts Administrator/ Office Administrator


COMPANY: Property Consultancy


HOURS: Full time, Maternity Contract, 12 months


SALARY: £28,000 - £32,000


LOCATION: London



What is the purpose of your role:



  • Double checking and posting staff monthly expense claims including breaking out allowable VAT where appropriate

  • Posting of all supplier invoices, and organising bi-monthly payment run

  • Reconcile the bank account on a monthly basis



  • Coding and inputting all bank transactions into Sage 50

  • Ensure all company credit card transactions have receipts and post expenses on Sage 50



  • Reviewing aged debt and chasing where necessary



  • Uploading invoices to client portals

  • Helping Finance Manager with Year End and Auditors

  • Main contact for the Landlord & Building Manager

  • Main contact for all office contracts i.e. cleaning, milk & fruit deliveries, photocopiers etc

  • Managing Analysts subscriptions/memberships

  • General admin support as and when needed



What background you will need to be successful:



  • Excellent written and verbal communications.

  • Have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally, communicating professionally at all times.



  • Work well as part of a team, liaising with colleagues to ensure the department runs efficiently and deadlines are met to a high standard.

  • Have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.



  • Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in an Office Manager/Admin Assistant Role, assisting in a Finance function.

  • The candidate must have experience of using SAGE 50.
