JOB TITLE: Accounting Software Advisor

LOCATION: Bridgwater, Somerset

HOURS: 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

THE ROLE: You will support company software users with queries regarding accounting software, ensuring that client requirements and expectations are delivered.


  • Providing pre and post sales support to clients and colleagues on the use and operation of company software products by telephone, email, remote working, conference calls and face to face.

  • Supporting Technical Consultants in the delivery of projects and solutions which employ company software solutions, including working on-site at customer premises.

  • Ensuring that the Company's revenue is protected, that all work is adequately accounted for under a customer's service contract or that work is appropriately costed and billed.

  • Maintaining positive and proactive business relationships with clients.

  • Working within the company's software services team and with other colleagues to analyse, research and provide solutions, including proposals for future solutions to meet client enquiries and needs.

  • Ensuring the database and training material is kept up to date, structured and available to all staff who need access.

  • Keeping up to date with recent market and industry trends and competitors.


  • Previous experience in a role with finance / accounts position and knowledge on how accountancy software operates.

  • Previous experience in customer interfacing roles.

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent use of ICT and appropriate software tools to support the operation of the role.

  • Experience of being part of process change transformation.
