**Marketing Head Office based in the Heart of West End are looking for a Purchase Administrator with excellent Administration and Excel skills to join their team**



JOB ROLE: Purchase Administrator


JOB TYPE: Permanent


COMPANY: Marketing


HOURS: 9.00am - 5.30pm


SALARY: £25,000- £26,000


LOCATION: West End, London



DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:



  • To order all outer box labels and ensure they arrive promptly at suppliers to enable them to apply as they pack, avoiding any double handling.

  • To ensure all assembly guides are sent to suppliers promptly to enable them to insert as they pack.

  • To ensure assembly guides & labels are supplied by account teams on time

  • To raise, amend & send out purchase orders as required to suppliers

  • To receive, format and send POD's onwards to client teams.

  • To book transport as per client requirements, in a timely and cost-effective manner, ensuring best cost is obtained and level of service is achieved.

  • Updating internal order confirmations and sending to suppliers in relation to orders

  • Printing of courier labels & dispatching on time to suppliers

  • Raising of delivery notes to accompany goods to final destination - to be sent to suppliers producing goods & couriers to book transport

  • Liaising with suppliers couriers to confirm collection times, dates and pallet counts


SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



  • Ideally 1 years' experience in a purchasing or logistics role

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and MS Office applications is essential for this role

  • High organisational skills and ability to manage a number of projects at the same time

  • Proactive approach to all business communication and providing updates in a timely manner

  • Strong communicator who works efficiently and is always fully up to date with processes and procedures

  • Recent experience in using a bespoke or industry recognised software will be beneficial.
