Role: Purchase Ledger Clerk (Part Time)


Location: Bradford


Hours: 10am-2pm Hours per Week over 4 days Monday to Thursday - on-going


Salary: £9 - £10 per hour


Start date: ASAP

If so, we have an excellent temporary opportunity for you to join our Bradford client on a Part Time Temporary basis.



Duties include




  • Checking and Processing purchase invoices

  • Matching POs & raising queries with internal teams

  • Supplier statement reconciliations

  • Daily communication with suppliers

  • Dealing with payment enquiries & invoice queries

  • Requesting new vendor accounts

  • Following up credit notes for disputed invoices

  • Preparing and submitting purchase ledger period end balance sheet reconciliation

  • Producing and submitting monthly item charges cost report to management

  • Assist with petty cash transactions

  • Arrange purchase of foreign currency requirements

  • Posting sales ledger receipts and credit notes

  • Answering telephone calls (as required)

  • Other ad hoc duties as required



Experience Required




  • Knowledge of Word and Excel

  • Knowledge of SAGE

  • Previous experience in a similar role

  • Strong communication skills

  • Good team working skills

  • Accurate, especially with numbers

  • Presents self in a professional manner

  • Trustworthy and able to keep information confidential

  • Able to use initiative
