Role: Payroll Administrator

Location: Bradford

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am till 5pm

Salary: £21,000 to £23,000 dependant on experience

Start date: ASAP

Are you an experienced payroll administrator looking for a new and varied role? Are you looking to work with a friendly and inclusive team on a permanent basis? If so, this could be the role for you!

This role is a full-time permanent position offering a competitive salary of £21,000 to £23,000 dependant on experience.

Duties include

  • Liaising with a variety of clients via telephone and email to gather information when required

  • All aspects of payroll duties and processing payroll for 530 employees

  • Dealing with payroll queries

  • Dealing with third parties such as HMRC, DWP, CSA etc…

  • Assisting with general accounts such as Purchase Ledger

  • Managing weekly and monthly payroll schedules

  • Calculating and processing Maternity pay, sick pay and overtime calculations

  • Offering a personalised payroll service to a wide range of clients; understanding their requirements and delivering a timely service

  • Follow internal policies and procedures

  • Assisting the HR team when required

Experience Required

  • Experience processing the payroll of at least 200+ employees

  • Good working knowledge of current legislation, including; tax, NI, SSP, SMP, SPP etc.

  • Minimum 5 GCSE's Grade C or above (including Maths & English)

  • Numerate, accurate and able to work to strict deadlines

  • Sound knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel)

  • Experience of Cascade would be an advantage but not essential
