Job Title: Payroll Manager
Salary: Up to £55k pa
Location: Chiswick

We are recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join our client's busy, international team in Chiswick. You will be in charge of all things Payroll and be able to manage your own workload. Attention to detail is essential and so is efficient time management.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Responsible for the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll for 200-250 employees on SAGE 50 Payroll. This includes the entire cycle of payroll processing including joiners and leavers, online payments, and issuing related documents.
* Pension Scheme and Auto Enrolment management.
* Coordinating with HR to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.
* Recording and processing SSP, SMP, SPP, Shared Parental Pay and other statutory payments and deductions.
* Prepare month-end payroll reports, post monthly salary journals and reconcile to the managements accounts.
* Administering the company's benefits package, Ride to work scheme, Childcare vouchers, season ticket loans, and professional subscriptions.
* Generating reports for payments e.g. PAYE and ensuring accurate timely payments.
* Completion and submission of payroll year end including statutory P60 returns.
* Preparation of information required for submission of annual P11d's and PSA's.
* Manage and control the Sage payroll software and database including updates and upgrades as required.
* Ensuring all staff are kept informed of changes which may impact on the company or individuals.
* Process mapping of all payroll procedures including the production of a payroll manual.
* Administration of expenses cycles including verification and payments.
* Providing ad-hoc support to the Finance team.

Knowledge, skills and qualities required:
* Previous experience operating in a stand-alone payroll function.
* Good knowledge of relevant payroll legislation/regulations and willingness to stay up to date with changes.
* Excellent communication and persuasion skills to liaise effectively at all levels.
* Confident working with numbers with the ability to reconcile accurately.
* Conscientious time-keeping showing flexibility when required.
* Experience of Sage is important but not essential.
