4 Days per week 10am -3pm - Flexible


COMPANY: Accountancy Practice

HOURS: 4 days per week 10am 3pm -(Your new Manager open to reasonable flexi-hours)

We're teaming up with the Payroll Manager of an award winning Accountancy Practice to provide support to the Payroll department.

The Role

To provide a full functional payroll service to the practice clients.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

The day to day duties in your new job would be:

  • Assisting the payroll manager to provide timely and accurate payroll to the clients

  • Process SMP/Starters/Leavers etc.

  • Process auto enrolment

  • Any administration

Key Skills/Knowledge Required

  • Fully experienced on Sage 50 Payroll software (essential)

  • Technically trained in PAYE/NIC and payroll processing ( at least 2/3 years' experience ) (essential)

  • Confident in payroll procedures like SMP/SSP/Leavers etc

  • Ideally familiar with RTI

  • Ideally familiar with auto enrolment

  • Understands the payroll process from start to finish - from inputting data to Sage 50 Payroll software - to filing and submitting the RTI report etc per client per pay period

  • Client payroll background ideal - but not essential

  • Will be trained on client payroll procedure per client

  • Excellent communication skills - both telephone and email

  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload
