Office Angels London Bridge are currently looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join one of our amazing clients based in the South-East London area on a part-time temporary basis.


The Finance Manager is a standalone role who liaises with the UK based Operations Manager and HR Team and also New York and the Office Manager in the US office.


The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work for a very successful company within a fast-paced and creative environment.


Southwark | Part-Time 21 hours p/w | £170 per day depending on experience | Must be available to interview W/C 7th October and start on Monday 14th October (Non Negotiable)


Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Prepare and present consolidated accounts with a financial narrative for quarterly board meetings

  • Liaise with teams / individuals to confirm budget and likely expenditure

  • Monitor expenditure vs. budget on a monthly and quarterly basis

  • Code transactions

  • Conduct profitability analysis and share with project lead, flagging issues

  • Cash flow management including chasing debtors

  • Manage inter-company charging / reconciliation

  • Monitor invoice history - prompt on 1st / 2nd half invoices etc.

  • Pay all international suppliers and log check payments for the US

  • Input changes including. starters, leavers, secondees, changes to salary for both offices and informing all relevant benefit providers

  • Run monthly payroll for UK

  • Manage pension payments and contributions for the UK office

  • Ensure compliance with HMRC

  • Field ad hoc questions from staff in both offices

  • Keep up to date and aware of changes that might impact benefits / payroll e.g. PFL in US, auto-enrol in UK

  • Prepare dividends and making payments

  • Process the annual EMI Return


Knowledge and Experience Required:



  • ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified. Will consider part-qualified in exceptional circumstances, depending on experience.

  • 3 + years minimum exp of administration/finance and accounts functions

  • Running payroll in UK

  • Knowledge of pension schemes

  • Proficiency in VT/Sage or similar software package

  • Office software (Apple: Keynote, Pages, Numbers; and Microsoft: PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
