Role: Accounts Assistant (12 Months FTC)

Location: Bradford

Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm

Salary: £19,000 - £20,000

Start date: November

Are you a motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience working in a Finance team? Are you looking for a new and challenging position? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you to join our Bradford client covering a Maternity Contract which could last up to 14 months.

This role would be perfect for someone who is able to prioritise and manage their own work load and has a keen eye for detail. Our Client is a UK Leading manufacturer who looks after some major accounts and pride themselves in excellent customer service.

Duties include

  • Processing supplier invoices

  • Matching POs and raising queries with internal teams

  • Inputting invoices into SAGE

  • Supplier statement reconciliations

  • Daily communication with suppliers

  • Assisting with the month end and year end

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Dealing with payment enquiries and invoice queries

  • Reconciling company credit cards

  • Chasing outstanding debts

  • Ad hoc accounts duties

Experience Required

  • Strong knowledge of Word and Excel

  • Previous Finance experience

  • Sage 200 knowledge would be beneficial

  • Strong communication skills and Attention to detail

  • Able to work on own inactive

  • Presents self in a professional manner

  • Able to use initiative to resolve issues
