An exciting opportunity has become available for an Assistant Finance Manager for a company in the heart of West Lothian.

Having extensive finance experience, the successful candidate will be responsible for day to day management of the Finance Department to deliver month end along with the below -

  • Journal Entry

  • Preparing and reporting on financial results within the business

  • Balance reconciliations

  • VAT Return Submitting

  • Audit preparation

  • Cash flow management

  • Providing support and expert advice to all areas of the business around Accounts

  • Continuous review of customer debt and cash allocation and escalate as necessary

  • Contribute development and implementation of company policies and procedures

  • Cover and support finance department as and when required

  • Producing and performing adhoc administration duties as and when required

Ideal Candidate -

  • Degree level or equivalent or working towards ACCA Applied Skills or CIMA Management Level

  • Significant experience working in a Finance Team

  • Experience performing Management or Financial Accounts tasks

  • Excellent organisational

  • Navision (desirable)

  • Ability to prioritise a high load of work

  • Negotiation skills

  • Outstanding Customer Service skills

  • Highly competent in Microsoft Packages
