Our international client is recruitng for a passionate and talented BIM Coordinator - initially 12 months FTC with the potential to go perm



  • up to £50,000k

  • Hybrid working - 2 days in office and 3 from home

  • 40 hours a week


General company requirements
Support the project team in the use of BIM tools and workflows, especially Autodesk Revit.


The candidate will provide technical support directly to project team members and liaise with the Senior BIM Coordinator and ultimately, to the Head of BIM, providing feedback on the team's requirements for training, workflows, or content.



The candidate should be from an architectural background, have good written and oral communication and be competent in the following areas:


Management:
 Working knowledge of ISO19650.
 Ability to work with, and understand the information needs of our clients.
 Assist in the production of a BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
 Assist to establish the project teams Responsibility Matrix (MPDT).
 Assist in the population of a Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP).
 Produce a BIM modelling standard.
 Knowledge and experience of administration of a CDE.
 Ensure compliance with project standards.
 Chair BIM project and team meetings.
 Project team support and training (in-house).
 Knowledge and experience in maintaining and delivering project BIM models.
 Experience in delivering projects to BIM standards with validation and QA processes is highly beneficial.
 Experience with medium to large scale complex projects within an architectural office is essential.
 Advanced understanding of volume strategies, clash avoidance strategies, issue management and MEP & Structural coordination management is highly beneficial.


Production
 Setup of a project model (in-house).
 Manage the setup of the other project models (supply chain).
 Production of 3D model elements.
 Production of model outputs.
 Assist in the preparation of COBie information.
 Production of COBie deliverable.
 Manage COBie information and deliverables process (in-house).


Software
 Advanced knowledge and experience of Revit and related plugins is essential.
 Knowledge and experience of visual scripting interfaces such as Dynamo s highly beneficial.
